ORB Superiority fighter

Designed to be fast, small, and cheap to manufacture the SF 05 is only meant to take down other aircraft. It is not adapted for space flight, or ground attack. Its armed with 4 cluster missiles , all of witch are concealed under the aircraft's skin. The cluster missiles are MKII Dragon's fangs extremely efficient air to air weapons systems with a 70% success rate. It can be equipped with 2 tanks that can be dropped, and can also be refueled in air via stratotanker. Its pulled along by two 3rd generation scram jet engines from ANTHinc made mostly out of titanium, aluminum, steal and magnesium alloys. The body of the aircraft is made up of mostly aluminum and steel alloys, with the skin being a composite material(Mostly carbon fiber embedded with epoxy), bonded to the structure. Composite materials such as carbon fiber epoxies, are cheaper and lighter than the aluminum, and steel alloys used in the aircraft of the last century. This allows the ORB to produce the SF 05 in large numbers.  Unfortunately composite materials do not offer as much protection as metal alternatives. The SF 05 must rely on speed and maneuverability as its offense and defense.
